Quilts for Foster Kids

Come and join us for a feel good session of quilting for a cause.  Quilts made in these sessions will be donated to Soroptomist International for distribution to children in Foster Care throughout Western Australia.  It's not essential to know how to quilt, if you can sew a (reasonably) straight line (or not!), or know your way around an iron and ironing board (even if you want to make the tea & coffee!!!)  we can use your help!

Saturday February 24, 2018, 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Saturday March 24, 2018, 1.00pm - 3.00pm

Bookings preferred (to make sure we can cater for you all!) Any time you can spare us between these hours would be appreciated.
Cost:  Your time and skills only, but any donations of fabric and quilting supplies gratefully accepted.

Crochet for a Cause (or Knit to Do your Bit)

Last year we donated 25 crocheted granny square rugs - our target for this year ... as many as possible! This year the rugs are being donated to the group "Grandparents Rearing Grandchildren in WA".  Come and join us for a happy session of easy crochet to make up some granny squares for our next batch of rugs.  Any time you can spare us will be appreciated.  Don't worry if you can't crochet - we will be happy to teach you for free (but we will keep the granny square you make!!)

Saturday February 24, 2018, 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Saturday March 24, 2018, 1.00pm - 3.00pm

Bookings preferred (to make sure we can cater for you all!) Any time you can spare us between these hours would be appreciated.
